The [ PEACE ] E-mail List

      Since the early 80's our local peace group (see the "Who We Are" page) has put out a monthly newsletter, The Peace Network newsletter. In the beginning its content was limited to the topic of nuclear disarmament. Since then, as our understanding of the interconnectedness of various global problems has increased (see the home page), we have broadened our focus to include them, and ways for the problems to be addressed.

Free copying, which had made our newsletter possible, ended in November 2002. But over that time e-mail became widespread. So we send occasional e-mails to people who have asked to be on our distribution list. We charge nothing and do not share or sell your e-mail address or other information about you. The subject line of messages from this list begin with "[PEACE]" in order to be readily identified.

We appreciate ActForChange, MoveOn, TrueMajority, and other activism e-mail lists. We try not to duplicate their material. If you are not receiving calls to activism and would like to be, check out these groups' Web sites via the "Peace Links" page.
